After the Divorce: A Woman Shares All In Her Intimate Audio Diary

By Jessica Munoz

If you’re anything like me, you most likely have used a journal to record the details of your day, to preserve the highlights of your life, and as a means to release emotions that may have otherwise been left bottled up. In this fascinating audio diary, one woman opens up about the feelings she felt following her divorce. She backtracks to the day her ex-husband emailed her about wanting a divorce, speaks of the frustrations of having to experience the soon-after holidays without him, comments on how she feels while watching the movers take his belongings, and on how she feels exactly a year after receiving that email.

The most engaging and heartening part is observing the changes that take place as she rebuilds herself over the course of a year.

If you're looking for something ultra-relatable, it's comforting to hear how others have made it through. Give it a listen here (BBC) .
