If you think back to the first time you were heartbroken, what advice would you give to that younger version of yourself?

"Never compromise your values and beliefs for anyone."

What has heartbreak taught you about yourself?

"Heartbreak has taught me I’m so much stronger than I gave myself credit for and no one can tear me down."

What are your rituals during a breakup? What things/practices/people helped you mend?

"Writing down a list of all his negative traits and posting that list somewhere in my home so I could be reminded of them any time I found myself missing him. I also started spending more time with friends. Keeping busy and having events to look forward to helped keep my mind off the break up."

Thinking back to breakups you’ve had, did you have any breakup vices (checking your ex’s Insta, etc) and how do you conquer them?

"I think we all are guilty of “checking in” on our exes on social media- I certainly have. You have to unfriend and block them and keep it moving. The past no longer concerns you."

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned about love so far in your life?

"Someone should complement you, not complete you. You are already whole and complete."

Do you think exes can be friends? Do you stay friends with your exes on social media?

"I personally don’t believe in being friends with exes. The past belongs in the past. I do not stay in touch with any of my exes."

What keeps your heart open, despite the heartbreaks you’ve had in your life?

"You just have to have faith that everything happens for a reason and the one you are meant to be with will come when the time is right. There is someone for everyone."

What is your favorite song about heartbreak?

What is your favorite movie about heartbreak?

"Waiting to Exhale"

What projects are you currently working on, and looking forward to most?

"I have a few projects I’m working on but you will have to wait to see what’s cooking!"
